Cardiff review

Wales: Cardiff
I was in Cardiff again last week, this time on a Tuesday. Forget about The Edge, a place I mentioned last time. A very amatuer set-up on a Tuesday and Wednesdays, and only 2 or 3 scrawny girls if they are lucky. The better bet is The Fantasy Lounge, where I again had a great time, but the lighting is still poor. A couple of girls worth a mention, one called Charlie with a good boob job, a wicked sense of humour, and a 7/10 mover. The other worth one worth a mention is a girl called Lorna Morgan, who has appeared in Score mag. and others, and has her own web site, has huge 32gg knockers, and is a sensuous mover @ 8/10 - very interesting. I had a double helping!!!

Club CFI is closed, due to the girls getting too close (pity I didn't visit earlier). The building may have been purchased by one of the Manic Street Preachers.

FANTASY LOUNGE. (St. Mary's St. 029-2038-2201). I visited it a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday, and on the whole, it was not too bad, apart from the lighting, which is appalling. You cannot see what you have paid for in 90% of the room. It costs £5 entrance fee, with £10 per dance, and only bottled beer @ £2.75. The girls varied, from scrawny (didn't spend my money on them), to 8 out of 10. Most of them would chat for awhile, but some were from "the valleys", and hadn't quite mastered the art of conversation. One Brazilian girl (name forgotten - sorry!), was absoulutely fantastic and got in real close. Another Portugese girl was very good, but didn't get in close and may have thought I was from the council, as she spilled the beans on the ex-CFI venue. There is one exceptional girl (appart from the tattoo on her upper arm - why do women have to deface themselves with tattoes?) called Angel. A little old at, say, 35 but what a performer! She chatted for ages, and said she was a web cam porn performer in Amsterdam every 6-8 weeks!?

THE EDGE. (St. Mary's St). Evidently is a venue on monday/tuesday/wednesday, but was just another bar on the Thursday night, with rather distasteful bouncers on the door. More info please on this one readers!

After reading Strax's report on Cardiff, and as I was there this weekend for the Rugby I thought a look at the 2 clubs would be a good way to finish off my visit. Strax is right on the weather, it was raining.

On the clubs though, he must have different tastes to normal punters. I went to the Fantasy Lounge first: down some steps to the club, it's long and narrow with poles at one end. First thing that struck me was NO draft beer only bottles - this is in a place where beer is the staple diet of the masses. The second thing was the girls, I counted only 8, and not a pretty one amongst them, Strax again is right about the older ones: if you like them big with tattoos all over their bodies. I saw only one show on the pole in approx. 90mins, "no clothes were taken off" and "loads of room", Strax mentions; he must have meant it was empty, only about 25 people in and some of them were girls with their boyfriends.

I had a couple of dances, the girls were quite friendly but would not engage you in conversation if you were not spending. No DJ to speak of and you walk right out onto the main road where all the club revellers are falling about, Cardiff looks like a very busy city at night. I paid £10 entrance and £10-20 per dance, depending if you wanted a longer one.

I then left and visited the other club. CF1 is next to the new stadium, I paid only £5 entrance and this was the normal price. Downstairs to the club, wider but not quite as long as the Fantasy, nice alcoves with seats for a more secluded private dance. First things first: all the beers on draft plus bottles, great! The second thing was this place was Full, a very lively atmosphere - and the girls, wow, there were approx. 14 working, really lovely looking, not a bad one amongst them. Collections for stage shows take place aka Browns and these were almost nonstop, very good shows and fully nude. Posters were around the club for the welsh national pole championships that were taking place there on the next few Thursdays.

I had a dance from a very tall blonde who was just gorgeous and who spoke to me for a good 40 mins even though it was packed, and also 3 other girls who all were top model material. I paid only £10 per dance and these were probably as good as I have ever had, and I am a punter who has been around a great deal, all over the world so I do know what I am talking about. The club has a DJ who is always introducing the shows and telling you what is happening next. I was there for the fantasy parade, and this was very slick, great outfits and I had the special offer dance after as well.

I don't know if Strax feels that £5 is too much for entry but to me that is extremely cheap when you see the girls. I cant wait for the next international this weekend, south africa are in cardiff and I have my ticket already, also CF1 is the place that I will be spending my extra time.

Cardiff, the wettest venues going... Unfortunately the wetness is outside the venues: every visit I have ever made to Cardiff, it rains continuously...

My venture began as a search to find girls who used to work at the New Tower Hotel in Swansea, which was my perfect idea of a lap dancing club. The girls were very provocatively dressed and the place was nicely lit and warm. Alas I believe the locals objected too vehemently and it has subsequently closed. I never knew sheep could be so collected... I was gratified to learn form your site that clubs DO exist in Cardiff, and set off poste haste to investigate...

What a disappointement.

As I traipsed down a seedy, dirty little back alley (Womanby Street, Cardiff) I thought things could only improve. They didn't. Club CF1 was small, ill lit and downright cold. One girl was exceptionally lovely, but even now her name escapes me, her conversational skills were O.K. but spent a certain length of time knocking the other venues in town. They involved dancing "right in your face...". Needless to say I paid the £5 for a dance, quite enjoyed her, it involved some close contact and she was a lovely shape. The other girls were not particularly attractive, and highly immobile. There is a pole, with dances every 30 minutes or so. My conclusion? Not really worth the entrance fee.

But following such a glowing recommendation I visited the Fantasy Lounge, in the main drag. Here we find a lovely basement ghetto, the girls are attractive and a little overdressed for my taste. They are all friendly and sociable, dances on the pole(s) every 10 minutes and loads of room. All the girls were lovely, but if you visit, please do not overlook some of the older girls. Maria remembered me from the New Tower Hotel, but I only visited there one time! The dance I had was so close, that I forgot I had clothes on; it lasted for ages and ages, and I didn't dare stand up for a good twenty minutes afterwards. "In your face"? Yes, I'll say so. £5 entry and £10 dance, well worth it. This venue I shall revisit.

Three-floor For Your Eyes Only venue proposed in Cardiff.

A decision was to have been made on September 15, but I can't find what it was on the Web.

Not sure what's going on with this. FYEO were supposed to be relocating to a bigger venue. The minutes of 15th September have been published but don't mention the application.
The FYEO website mentions both relocation and re-opening in early 2018, so I'm not sure if they are moving or just doing up the existing club.

(The website has now been updated to show they are moving to 90 St Mary Street).
