And that is interesting the e-mail I sent was returned as blacklisted spam. Checked the IP address not blocked. Checked the domain acdcfan.com is not blocked so it is my individual account that has been blocked. I will be setting up another account and see what happens to that. Just strange I have been active against Not Buying it and the remnants of object and now I can't mail the lead councillor dealing with SEVs in Rotherham.

Re: S60 2DJ Rouge, Rotherham
From the Rotherham Advertiser article above:
"Cllr Emma Hoddinott, cabinet member for community safety, said the process had given her a greater understanding of the potential effect of such venues on employees and the community.
'This has been quite a journey,' she added. 'It has opened my eyes from what can look like a bit of fun to something where there are some real inequalities happening and exploitation as well.
'We did get some testimony of some quite horrific experiences.'"
Testimony from dancers working locally, or 'testimony' from SWERFs and other 'antis'? Cllr Hoddinott doesn't specify.
"The policy also strengthens safeguards for employees in the sex entertainment industry to protect from exploitation."
Again, safeguards requested by strippers themselves, or 'safeguards' imposed upon them without consultation by their would-be moral guardians?

I have e-mailed the councillor again with questions about where she is getting her information. Hopefully it has got through as it hasn't bounced yet.

The BBC has posted a video article today about the undercover filming, and the opposition to the threat of closure organised by the dancers:
