Re: ** HP11 2LR Bar 95, High Wycombe

This bar (which was above the White Horse Pub) will have gone defunct at the same time the pub closed.

Re: XX CLOSED HP11 2LR White Horse, High Wycombe

Went to the Christmas show that was not well attended - probably only half a dozen people turning up, almost outnumbered by the dancers. Only one girl bothered to do a stage show, the rest of the girls spending the evening trying to cadge private dances. Which was an indication why the White Horse a...

Re: ** HP11 2LR White Horse, High Wycombe

They apparently are no longer doing stage shows in the White Horse (Wycombe) at lunchtime - the two girls on wanted to earn a tenner for each stage show and there were not enough people in the pub to put that much in the jug - most were more interested in playing pool. So they were doing private dan...

The White horse is toast. Hanging up its g-strings on the 31st December. https://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/news/23912721.white-horse-pub-high-wycombe-saved-demolition/ A pub in High Wycombe known for being the town’s only lap dancing venue has been saved from demolition but will nonetheless close its...

Re: XX CLOSED LU7 1LF New Waterfront Bar, Linslade

The landlord was, to put it mildly, dodgy. They ran the occasional stag night. I've never seen a landlord standing front and centre of the action in any other venue. I also believe he wasn't the legal landlord owing to a dubious record - someone fronted for him. Tease pulled the dancers after one wa...

Re: XX CLOSED GU11 1BH Q Bar, Aldershot

This was Dawn who ran Angels Exotic. She was hoofed from supplying dancers to Tiffany's, who got fed up with overweight Brazilians who struggled to speak English. The Q-Bar was in the process of going bust anyway, and Dawn told them strippers would reverse the trend. It didn't, and the place still w...

Re: XX CLOSED RG26 4QY The Falcon, Tadley, near Thatcham.

The problem here was a landlord who was both lazy and incompetent. The place initially did good business, but the locals learnt not to come over until they saw the curtains closed, because that meant dancing had started. And he wouldn't close the curtains until there were enough people in the pub fo...

Re: XX CLOSED OX26 6AA G's Bicester

G's struggled to get dancers because there were few in easy traveling distance - most dancers are/were London based, so it was a long trip out there and unpopular as a result. The end result was the same two or three more local dancers were all that appeared there, and sometimes not even those - a s...

Re: XX CLOSED AL3 3HB Junction9Exotic (former Waggon & Horses)

So - a bit more info. Tony, who owned the pub for years, was a borderline alcoholic, which I think impaired his judgement. And the place went slowly downhill, not helped by attempts to penny pinch. For example, instead of the juke box being free, the dancers had to put their own money in it. Having ...

Re: ?? AGENCY - Entertease / Tease

Tease is indeed deceased - they were down to the Flags + once a year, a tent at the Bulldog Bash. And, pre-Covid, they didn't seem to do any checks/quality control on their dancers. Meaning many at the Flags were past their sell-by date. Post Covid, the Flags now books dancers direct, which means th...
